Three experienced insurance professionals have joined Sycamore Insurance Associates, specializing in its commercial line services.
Chris Reynolds is a commercial insurance account executive. He is Level 1 certified by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing to do infrared scans for loss control purposes, including detecting conditions such as water infiltration, mold and energy loss. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently with Coughanowr Insurance in Brazil.
Reynolds started his career with Farm Bureau. He then spent 13 years with the Bowsher Agency as a producer and later purchased that agency. In 1997, he sold the agency to a local insurance firm, where he became a vice president and was recognized in 2010 for exceptional performance. A Terre Haute native, he graduated from Brazil High School and attended Ivy Tech.
Megan Reynolds is an account executive for Sycamore Insurance specializing in personal lines and small commercial insurance clients. She comes to Sycamore with two years of experience, having formerly worked with State Farm and Coughanowr Insurance in Brazil. She holds property and casualty as well as life and health licenses in Indiana. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the Scott College of Business, Indiana State University. She is a native of Terre Haute and graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School.
Kiley Shotts brought 13 years of insurance experience when she joined Sycamore Insurance as a customer service agent in April. Her focus with Sycamore is commercial insurance service. She previously worked with a large retail insurance agency that specialized in trucking clients. There she was named Claims Professional of the Year in 2006. She is licensed in property and casualty insurance in Indiana. Shotts is from Marshall, Ill., and graduated from Marshall High School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University.
Sycamore Insurance Associates is an independent agency offering a full line of insurance products, including commercial and personal lines. It was founded by Donald T. "Scotty" Scott, a fourth-generation insurance provider, in 2010. The agency offers group benefit and wellness services to both large and small employers.
